How cheer works

Creator fees, vaults, burns and the bits in between.

Overview

cheer connects Pump.fun tokens to Twitch channels. Every coin launched through cheer carries a creator handle — a Twitch username — written directly into its bonding curve at mint time.

As the token trades, launch fees accrue in the pump vault. An hourly keeper sweeps them to the cheer treasury, converts the streamer's share into Twitch Bits, and delivers it as a cheer in their chat. No wallet. No login. No claim button.

The short version: 85% of every creator fee lands in the streamer's chat. 15% of every launch fee buys $CHEER and burns it, forever.

Getting paid

The keeper calls collect_creator_fee once per hour. It sweeps the pump vault of every routed coin to the cheer treasury, then splits:

· 85% — converted to USD and delivered to the Twitch handle as Bits + subscriptions. Twitch keeps roughly 30% at the Bits step; the net amount is printed on every receipt.
· 15% of launch fees only — routed to the buyback-and-burn program (see below).

Every payout produces a public receipt with the milestone number, lifetime total and timestamp. Nothing is off the record.

Launching

Launch flow is identical to a standard Pump launch, with one addition: the launch transaction passes a creator handle. After the coin graduates, fees follow the handle — not the deployer.

The deployer never touches the fee stream. A coin launched for @xqc pays @xqc, even if the deployer's wallet is burned, sold, or lost.

Attribution

Attribution is per-mint. create_v2 writes creator into the bonding curve account at mint time:

08discriminator
84+nname
..4+nsymbol
..32creator

It cannot be changed afterwards. A coin's fee stream is fixed to its handle forever — that's the guarantee streamers and buyers rely on.

Buybacks & burns

15% of every launch fee buys $CHEER on the open market and burns it. The burn is one-way — those tokens leave circulation permanently.

More launches → more buy pressure → less supply. Fees in, supply down. Track the running total on Analytics.

Security

No admin keys. The keeper can only sweep vaults — it cannot move a coin's fee stream or change a handle. Attribution lives in the bonding curve account, which is immutable after mint.

Open by default. Every sweep, split and burn produces a public receipt. If the keeper misses an hour, the next sweep catches up — nothing is ever lost, only delayed.

Failure mode: if cheer disappears tomorrow, routed coins keep trading on Pump and the vault keeps accruing. The streamer's handle is on-chain, not on our servers.

Roadmap

Phase 1 · now — launch flow, explorer, receipts, docs. Everything you see on this site.

Phase 2 — keeper mainnet: hourly collect_creator_fee sweeps with real Bit payouts, wallet connect, creator dashboard.

Phase 3 — $CHEER TGE with launch-fee buybacks and burns, per-channel sub-metrics, Telegram bot for milestone alerts.

FAQ

Do streamers need a wallet to receive fees?
No. Payouts arrive as Twitch Bits in their own chat. Cheer handles everything; the streamer never touches crypto.
Can a coin be re-routed to a different channel?
Never. The handle is written at mint and is immutable. Choose carefully at launch — it's permanent.
What does Twitch take?
Twitch keeps about 30% when Bits are cashed out. The net USD is printed on each receipt, so the numbers you see are what the streamer actually receives.
How often do payouts happen?
The keeper sweeps hourly, but a payout fires once a handle crosses the next milestone. Small streams accrue until they cross it; big ones fire every hour.
Is this affiliated with Twitch?
No. cheer is an independent protocol and is not affiliated with Twitch Interactive. All marks belong to their owners.
